The Ahmadiyya Muslim Research Association (AMRA) encourages and supports the youth of the Ahmadiyya Muslim community towards academic and research excellence. We believe that professional research offers a spiritually and temporally rewarding career path for our talented youth and our membership is open to all who are interested in research.
As Ahmadi Muslims, we believe that science and religion, far from being in conflict, drive each other towards finding material as well as moral truths. Thus through our activities we aim to inculcate within our membership the love of the Holy Qur’an and the love of science, with our role models being the likes of Professor Abdus Salam, the first Muslim Nobel Laureate in the sciences.
“Therefore, I advise the youth: Immerse yourself in studies to the exclusion of everything else. Advance so much in every field of education that your minimum target is a Nobel Prize.”
Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad – The fifth Caliph of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community.
